There’s plenty of news to share, but I haven’t posted any updates since November 2022 (except the exciting news of receiving 100 citations on Google Scholar last month) because I’ve been thinking about changing hosts. Last week, I started learning the ropes of a potential replacement that promises to be as easy as designing in Canva. If all goes well I hope to launch my new website by early next year, although I will of course retain this domain. Till then, I might pop in to post belated announcements and store full-text versions of new publications here when the mood strikes, but regular updates will be diligently shared in my UCL Profile.

For now, I wish to share the happy news that my Debates Paper coauthored with Gavin Shatkin and Vivek Mishra has been selected as one of the two Editors’ Featured Articles in Urban Studies. SAGE made our paper free to view, download, and share on July 20, and it will be free to access till around October 20.

This paper was published first online last January, and later included in the July 2023 Special Issue, “Urban Public Health Emergencies and the COVID-19 Pandemic (2): Infrastructures, Urban Governance and Civil Society”, guest edited by Scott Orford, Yingling Fan, and Phil Hubbard.
